Chris Ross – New Zealand C5 Paracyclist

Aspiring Athlete Chris Ross is a New Zealand Para-cycling Representative. Chris is a below elbow amputee who races in the C5 category, which includes people with upper body disabilities. Chris is still an amateur and is holding his own against numerous pro riders and world champs.

Scotland to Sahara – going the distance with Formthotics™

In 2011 Dr Andrew Murray ran 34 miles a day, for 78 consecutive days (that’s over 100 marathons!) to make it from John o’ Groats (Scotland) to the Sahara Desert (Africa). At the finish line he had reached a grand total of 4279.2 kilometers (2659 miles).

Formthotics work with Chinese Olympic athletes

I was asked by Doctor Lillian Chen, (who practices in Los Angeles California and worked as the chief therapist at the Beijing Olympics), to bring a team to China to work with at the Chinese Olympic Training Center in Beijing China. Our major focus has been the rehabilitation of the injured Olympic athletes. Many of their problems, similar to all athletes in any part of the whole, is overuse injuries.
